Richmond Primary School Dads Campout was a follow up from The Fathering Project presentation at the Swan Yacht Club. Dr Bruce Robinson had strongly encouraged the gathered Dads to spend ‘Dad’ time with their kids. The Dad’s Campout was jointly organised by the Richmond Primary School P& C and East Fremantle Baptist Church (they provided the games and breakfast). While the Dads were waiting for their free coffee from the coffee van (paid for by the P& C), Raymond Shanhun, executive officer of The Fathering Project spoke briefly about the joy of hearing his adult children speak warmly about past Dad times with him.
