Donna CrossDonna Cross is the Foundation Professor of Child and Adolescent Health in the School of Exercise Biomedical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University in Western Australia and Director of the Child Health Promotion Research Centre. She has recently been awarded WA’s Australian of the Year 2012. She conducts applied multi-disciplinary school and family-based research to improve children’s mental, social and emotional health by reducing bullying including cyber bullying behaviours, road injuries, obesity and drug use behaviours. |

Stephen LarkinStephen trained as a Science teacher and began his teaching career in Papua New Guinea and then worked for with Wycliffe Bible Translators at their international school. He has worked for YouthCARE since 2006 in variety of positions (Area Chaplain, Head of Chaplaincy Services and Head of Ministry Services overseeing both operational and training. He was chairperson of the Australian Small Group Network WA and is currently Treasurer of the Australian Association for Pastoral Care in Education. |

Lisa WoodAssociate Professor Lisa Wood is the Deputy Director of the Centre for the Built Environment and Health, within the School of Population Health at The University of Western Australia. Underpinning all of her research is a strong interest and commitment to research that is useful and relevant to the ‘real world’. This in part stems from two decades of experience in health promotion programs and policy prior to, and continuing in tandem with her research career. Her current research interests are somewhat diverse, and include social capital and sense of community; mental health promotion; impact of built and social environments on health; parks and playgrounds; aboriginal health and redressing health inequalities. Lisa’s credentials also include survival in an all- male household – namely one husband and three lively sons. |
